EXPERIENCED PACU/Phase I Recovery RN NEEDED. Candidates MUST have current or very recent PACU adult and pediatric experience in high volume unit OR recent adult critical care experience in complex setting. Patients in PACU are high acuity. We receive Level I trauma patients and see both adult and pediatric patients. We are currently utilizing 26 bays within a 40-bay PACU. EPIC EXPERIENCE HIGHLY DESIRABLE.This unit sees all types of PACU cases, including neurointerventional stroke and ICU (excluding open hearts.) The RN will care for patients with Art lines, vasoactive drips, ventilators, re-intubations, hemodynamically unstable patients, high number of CV cases, neuro patients with varied drains and monitors. Experience providing groin care post interventional procedures required. PACU also receives Radiology, ECT, outpatient and Endo – anything that needs sedation / general anesthesia. Pediatric patients seen mostly in evening hours. RNs discharge patients to home from PACU in the evening hours.Candidates MUST have ACLS and PALS and will be required to pass dysrrthmia, hemodynamic monitoring and medication tests on first day.Saint Francis is approximately 1000 beds and a regional referral center. We receive level I Trauma via air/ground transport and treat a wide variety of high acuity patientsEpic EMR system. Epic experience is highly preferred as this will allow for more flexibility in assignment start dates; also allows for smoother onboarding. Limited Epic orientation on first and second day only provided twice per month otherwise.Schedule is 4-10s per week, 1200 – 2230, with some variability required. ‘Call’ is included and required at night and on weekends. Typically, Call is about 30-40 hours per month or 3-4 ‘call’ shifts per month.SFHS SUBMISSION COVER SHEET MUST BE SUPPLIED OR PROFILE WILL BE DECLINED.
