Weekend Requirement- Every other weekend, Holidays- as needed
Floating – First to Float (Med, Surg, Tele)
Misc Information: 36 beds, non-cardiac monitored unit
Ratios- 1:5-6 on day, 1:6 nights
Floor, Orientation- 3 days
Scrubs- Navy Blue Pants and Solid Navy-Blue tops or Solid white (Jackets Solid Navy Blue or Solid white) can mix and match.
Common diagnosis / Types of patients General medicine patients. Occasional trach or PEG tube, but not a lot. No vents, no BiPap, no tele, no major surgical procedures (they do have debridement’s, toe amputations, lap appy or choleys, etc.) Common diagnosis include: pneumonia, UTI, cellulitis, diabetes, diverticulitis, failure to thrive, oncology dx, sickle cell crisis, etc.
