***Travelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.?The AOB testing site tests both patients and employees for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This position is responsible for assisting with nasopharyngeal swabbing tests (nasal swab) on UW Health patients, employees, and the public.Greet patients/employees in a professional and courteous manner.Check patients in for appointments.Schedule patient appointments.Assist with nasopharyngeal swabbing tests on patients.Responsible for logging and storing specimens in cooler.Help with tasks as needed in the collection tent.Minimum Requirements:Traveler must have permanent address outside 75 mile radius of Madison.Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only).Prior traveling experience preferred.Customer service experience, clinical health care experienceEducation: H.S. Diploma or equivalent requiredWork Experience: One-year experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN.Licenses Certification: Certified as CMA, RMA or CCMA, and BLS certificationSchedule: D/E, Our operating hours are from 7:00am – 7:00pm including weekends and holidays.
