Travelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract***Must have EPIC and ambulatory experience***We are seeking aMedical Assistantto:Join the UW Health Urology team, it is consistently ranked among the country’s top programs and offers center-oriented specialty treatments and consultations in urologic cancers, stone disease, urinary tract infections, voiding dysfunction and infertility, as well as a full complement of minimally-invasive surgery techniques related to urologic conditions.Assist Urologists as they evaluate and treat patients of all ages.Assist with procedures such as cystoscopies, biopsies, uroflowmetry and vasectomies.Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness and education.UW Health Clinics- our physicians and staff are dedicated to providing an exceptional patient and family experience by delivering the highest quality of care in a compassionate environment. With more than 80 primary and specialty care clinics located throughout Dane County and the surrounding areas, we are proud to have the opportunity to impact the communities we serve.**Minimum Requirements:**Traveler must have permanent address outside 75 mile radius of Madison.Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only).Prior traveling experience preferred.Education: H.S. Diploma or equivalent requiredWork Experience: Two years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN.Licenses Certification: Certified as CMA, RMA or CCMA, and BLS certificationSchedule: 40 hrs/week, Day, Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
