Unit Description

Provides nursing services to Neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and families. Requires scientific knowledge base and ongoing growth and learning. The family or those significant to the family are considered as part of the assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation efforts of the RN and coordinates care between other professionals as needed.

3 IR suites, 1 CT interventional suite and out-patient Interventional Radiology. Monitor patients, provide sedation and assist anesthesiologist with general anesthesia for common procedures such as stroke intervention, diagnostic and therapeutic angiography, kyphoplasties, biopsies, drains, clot retrieval, aneurysm coilings and stents.

Non-Negotiables

Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required. State of Nevada Registered Nurse License required.

Schedule

Schedules are typically 4-10 hour days per week and may include weekends. Nights and weekends include on call coverage. Additional shifts may be necessary due to scheduled vacations, unscheduled sick calls or high volumes. Additional Information:UPDATE: As of 6/12/20, Renown Reserves the right to call off, without penalty, FOUR (4) shifts, or 48 hours, for low census per 13 week contract. This may be full or partial shifts. **Renown does NOT hire travelers/contractors that have a permanent address within sixty (60) miles of the facility. Position Urgency:Rapid Response Crisis
