**Winter rate expires 3/27/21**Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.The Employee Health Services (EHS) Nurse Clinician is a Registered Nurse who provides direct and indirect nursing care for UW Health employees, contract employees and non-employee groups, with particular emphasis in the area of occupational health. The Nurse Clinician utilizes established protocols and current standards of care to meet the wide variety of health care needs of the UW Health employee population. Primary work duties will be performing immunizations, TB skin tests, triaging calls, and respirator fit testing.Minimum Requirements:3 years of relevant nursing experience required.Experience working in either an employee health clinic, infectious disease or internal medicine clinic preferred.Certified as a COHN preferred.Traveler must have a permanent address outside 50 mile radius of MadisonTraveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state. *Will consider candidates without WI or Compact RN license but must apply for a temporary license within 48 hours of offer accepted and provide proof of application. Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.Prior traveling experience is preferred. Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 – Trauma center.BLS (American Heart Association Only)Need 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only)Schedule: 40 hrs/week, Day, 8 hr shift, Between the hours of Monday-Sunday 7a-4:30pLocation: 700 University Bay Dr, Madison, WI Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation.
